Thanks to the event "Mixed Fairy Tales at Sovinec Castle" , we have created a short humorous theatrical scene that will transport the audience to the legendary film Shrek. During it, the audience will see Shrek and his loyal friend Donkey, Lord Farquaad, and a singing information booth.

Historic craft fair

For several years now we have been organizing the Craft Fair at Sovinci Castle. The entire castle is transformed into one large historical marketplace full of period crafts. All craftsmen are dressed in medieval clothing , which corresponds to the profession and the era. The program consists of demonstrations of historical crafts themselves and also an accompanying program in the form of not only our group.

You will learn how life was in the Middle Ages and find out something about historical hats, medieval jewelry , medieval clothing or historical swords . A basket maker and candle maker will also show you their work and wonderful aromas will waft from the period kitchen. As part of the event, you will also see medieval tents and hear medieval music .
